Head of Lending at HeavyFinance

Reporting to the CEO the Head of Lending will primarily be responsible for the strong asset quality in the existing loan book and future lending. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our lending activities, including loan origination, underwriting, and portfolio management. You will lead a team of lending professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of lending targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the appropriate credit policies, systems, procedures and practices are operating efficiently and effectively
• Ensure compliance of the overall lending function within the parameters of risk appetite and regulations
• Review the loan portfolio regularly to identify emerging risks, trends, or opportunities for growth
• Manage lending risks and exposures
• Review and recommend changes to credit policies and procedures
• Develop new lending products, prepare analysis and business cases for approval

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a result driven, lending role.
• Ability to assess, critically evaluate and interpret complex information and to identify key credit risk drivers
• Strong credit analysis and credit underwriting experience • Excellent written and oral communication skills
• minimum of 5 years people management experience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
