HeavyFinance is in the business of removing one gigaton of CO2 emissions through science-based agricultural financing.

The company operates as a marketplace connecting investors – from retail to institutional – with European farmers in need of external funding to expand their farms and shift to regenerative agriculture. To ensure a positive impact of external financing provided to farmers, our soil scientists and agronomists take soil samples and do sophisticated laboratory tests measuring the levels of CO2 removed from the atmosphere.

We are a team of 60+ professionals with offices in Warsaw, Vilnius, Lisbon and Sofia.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with potential customers in the agricultural sector to provide financing. In this role, you will be directly involved in financial transactions and actively contribute to the development of HeavyFinance's financing policy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and developing sustainable relationships with existing and potential business customers (agriculture);
  • Proactively and comprehensively offer HeavyFinance financing products and other services to existing and new clients;
  • Performing risk assessment of clients' business financing and KYC/AML risks, anticipating clients' business prospects, collecting and analysing information on clients' business activities and needs;
  • Play an active role in the development of the company's financing policy;
  • Developing a specialist who works together as part of a team;
  • Advising colleagues on the complex sale of HeavyFinance services;
  • Play an active role in the development of new services for business clients.

Job requirements

We expect the successful candidate to have:

  • University degree in economics, finance or business administration;

  • Experience in direct sales to business clients and building long-term relationships with them;

  • Experience in analysing financial documents (balance sheet and profit and loss account);

  • Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation skills;

  • English language skills (written and oral);

  • Driving licence.

The salary range for this position in Lithuania is EUR 2,800 - 3,500 before taxes, plus monthly bonuses based on sales performance.
