HeavyFinance is seeking a dedicated Agronomist to join our team. As an Agronomist, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights and guidance to farmers on sustainable agricultural practices and carbon farming.

Responsibilities:

• Advise farmers on best practices for sustainable agriculture, including soil management, crop rotation, and pest control.
• Assist in the development and implementation of carbon farming strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote carbon sequestration.
• Conduct field visits to assess crop health, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with farmers to develop customized plans for optimizing crop yields while minimizing environmental impact.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agronomy and share knowledge with farmers to improve their farming practices.

Requirements 

• A degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in providing agronomic advice to farmers.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices and carbon farming techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
